The Italian underground has been always appreciated worldwide for the authenticity of the bands dwelling in its deepest realms. From prog back in the days, to occult rock later, to metal through '80s and '90s, all the way through the new experimental acts populating every sort of extreme music scene nowadays, Italians simply do it their own way, no matter what people really think about it.
Incredibly, they deliver, year after year, giving to the masses absolute gems of uncompromised attitude and splendour.
With this spirit, we introduce today one of our upcoming and latest releases for this year, an absolute experience made music by hand, spirit and hearth, from two bands, two projects, two acts, which are to be named as top notch realities in that unique world the Italian extreme music scene is.

The Magik Way & Malvento
"Ars Regalis"
The two names should not be new to any music fanatics and black metal old school followers.
Malvento have released with us last year "Pneuma", an uncompromised masterpiece which has taken the band even further in its personal journey towards contemporary extremism and old school devotion.
The Magik Way are an occult music icon, not only thanks to all the musicians involved in the project (most of them ex members of Mortuary Drape), but especially due to the occult aura which has taken the band sound through its unique experimentalism, often way far from the metal spectrum.

"Ars Regalis" does not aim to offer a simple solution to the split album approach.
In fact, the bands have taken the whole "split album" idea to a brand new dimension of cooperation and reciprocal support. The four tracks which are part of this opus magna have been performed by the musicians of the two bands in a semi-symbiotic way whereas the ideas of the one have been merged with the ideas of the other, and the genius of the two acts combined has given birth to hermetic sermons to the ancient and unknown.
A "Four Handed Split CD" as the two bands have called it, the union of two universes, into a new profoundly esoteric result.
"Ars Regalis" will be published by Third I Rex on the 23rd of December.
