Recently, we have completed the list of releases for this 2018. There is a lot still unveiled but for some of the upcoming albums we are going to press, we had already the chance to listen to a preview months back. Every band is different, and every band has always something to say about its sound and its music. One of the most incredible bands is certainly DEMETRA SINE DIE, a band of a kind which will soon call upon itself some well-deserved attention!
June 2018th will be for us another productive month! There's a lot going on behind the scenes and as always, when we are about to make public some upcoming releases, we really can't wait any longer to share some good news with you all. This time, we are going to be supporting a unique band from Italy, DEMETRA SINE DIE! This is not a new name in the scene! The Italians started their activity back in 2003 thanks to Marco Paddeu (already active in projects such as Morgengruss and SEPVLCRVM) and Marcello Fattore.
"An obsessive alternation of different and contrasting feelings emphasizing the emotional and spiritual side of music is the thread or Leitmotiv inspiring Demetra Sine Die.
Between May and July 2007 the band finished their first full-length album recorded and produced by Tommy Talamanca at Nadir Studio in Genoa.
This work came to light with the name of "Council from Kaos" at the beginning of 2008 via My Kingdom Music (Deinonychus, Klimt 1918, amongst many others). During these years the sound has evolved into something different... call it doom, post-metal or psychedelia... The compositions are generally long and intense, emotional and dark at the same time.
A more visionary and cosmic approach to music has led first to “A Quiet Land of Fear” (2012).
The second full-length has seen the collaboration, for the artwork, with French designer Dehn Sora who has worked with Ulver, Amenra, Blut Aus Nord and Ephel Duath."
The band's third full-length album marks a further development in comparison to "A Quiet Land of Fear", moving deeper into psychedelic, post fueled, sludge driven hallucinations. Including blackened/death overtures and krautrock elements amongst many other influences, the new opus “Post Glacial Rebound” will be out in June 2018 for Third I Rex.
This time the artwork created by talented Ukranian artist Anna Levytska, recently praised for her work with Blut Aus Nord.
The band, about the new album, has not been afraid to say: ".. 'Post Glacial Rebound' is a deep black space.. our inner space.. made of memories, emotions, pain, and joy, where we have found comfort and refuge. We hope you can feel the same."
Soon more news will be shared with the public. Until then, please find with this news a link to the band's latest material!
